“Renee was such an amazing photographer to work with for our first professional family portraits. We chatted in advance about what type of feel I wanted the photos to have, or if there was a theme in mind. We collaborated on the best location and then Renee scouted the outdoor site to determine the optimal lighting. A few days before the shoot, we confirmed the time after the weather forecast indicated no rain, although we already had a backup date in mind. Once we were on site, Renee made us all very comfortable including our 4-year-old son and coached us only when necessary. Encouraging our son to explore his surroundings naturally and look over with a smile only when we called his name, Renee was able to capture some of his purest expressions in images we will always treasure. Renee took plenty of time to get to know us beforehand, to determine what we wanted and how to achieve it. Our photo session was a lot of fun, and completely relaxed. Her experience combined with artistry resulted in proofs that held not just pretty poses, but that were "real", and showed our individual personalities. It was truly a full-service experience, resulting from Renee's knowledge of photo layout and interior design. I came away from our time together with beautifully printed (and even framed) products that lend to our home's value, and especially to the memories from that stage in our family.
